  2. Thank you! I wasn't there very long because I was on a super tight schedule, but if I ever go back there, I am definitely spending some more time in Souq Madinat Jumeirah. I loved it there, as you say, mixing the new with the old like that. I wish there was more of that in Dubai. Sharjah seemed more like that although I wasn't there for long either lol Sometimes I feel like I just blew through the UAE. I was holidaying with my friends in Oman and the uae was a bonus!

  3. When the security guard is under his umbrella at the right-hand side of that bridge, you can't go any further unless you're staying in the hotel.

That's a bummer because the best place to take a photo is from the bridge!

  4. SS, im glad you enjoyed, next time you come you should see more of the UAE there are some amazing places. the old souqs are quite interesting. Sharjah is more to my liking though not too crowded, not to loud and not too artificial, the museums and the mosques of Sharjah are a must see.

  6. NZM, I had like zero time when I was there so I never made it to the bridge to find out! Ahh next time ey?? :)

D Reb, I stayed in sharjah very shortly when I was there just because we had been told that it was a bit cheaper and calmer. I never made it to any museums though, which ones are there of interest? I am planning to go again this year, for longer this time! lol

Thanks Candy, I have to say , I absolutely loved it!
