These days the security atmosphere in Pakistan is such that it is not wise taking Photographs of government buildings, you will either end up in a cell belonging to the intellegence agencies for taking pictures of sensitive areas or be in the path of one of the numerous idiotic suicide bombers creating havoc in the country.

Two of Abu Dhabi's prominent government buildings: the one on the left is the Chamber of Commerce & Industry building, all lit up for the National Day celebrations; the one on the right is the Investment Authority building, perpetually lit up as it is currently the tallest building in the city.

Bay Window

Bay window at the other side of the govenor house, made of wood this is a fine specimen of woodcrafting done in Pakistan, This again is almost a couple hunded years old, Lahore, Pakistan.

British Era Building

Side enterance to the Drabar hall at governor house Lahore, this building was first built by the british and is now used as the official residence and office of the Governor of Punjab, it is one of the few old building from the british era which are still maintained and decorated with art, hand woven antique carpets and numerous things which give this building character, Lahore, Pakistan.

Not gotham, but close

This is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building - basically city hall and the state capital building wrapped into one. Up close, it's definitely reminiscent of something you'd see in a "Batman" movie.

Darbar Hall

Known as the Darbar Hall, this magnificiently decorated room situated in Governor House Lahore is used for official functions and Oath ceremonies, Lahore, Pakistan.
