Light at the end of tunnel

US supposedly started creating national parks in 1872 with Yellowstone National Park being the first. Today the country has 58 designated national parks . This was shot in Smoky Mountains National Park: established in June of 1934, is one of the largest protected areas in the Eastern United States. Set amidst Appalachian mountains it get its name due to the natural fog that hangs over the mountains in the mornings and after rains.

It must be a lovely park! Having national parks seems like a great way of preserving wildlife. Love the light at the end of the tunnel shot Moi :)
