What a great photograph!
They are everywhere in Germany - I'm fascinated by them. I'm even thinking that if J and I ever get to settle down in one place that I'd love to have a domestic one of these to supply power to our house.
In teh southern parts of sweden they are abundant! I passed by some over the weekend when I travelled down south by train.

You do see the quaint wooden windmills - but, these neo-age ones sure mark a change...
