Tepee

The portable homes of some Native American tribes: they were traditionally made of animal skins wrapped around poles. According to the traditions, the floor represented the earth, the walls the sky, and the poles the pathways from earth to the world of the spirits. We found this representative tepee in St. Ignace, Michigan, US.
