Today and tomorrow marks the celebration of the muslim holiday Eid ul Adha (The big Eid) that commemorates the story shared by the Abrahamic religions of the Prophet Abraham and the test God put him through by asking him to sacrifice his son (which he did not have to do in the end). Four days Muslims celebrate with friends and family and sacrifice an animal for the poor.
Muslims currently doing the Pilgrimage to Mecca will have descended from Mount Arafat in Saudi Arabia, the day before Eid starts.
To our Muslim photographers and readers, Eid Mubarak! (Have a blessed Eid)
