Clouds are a bit of a novelty in the UAE and when they do appear (in winters) they are like a thin veil over the sky, a few brushstrokes of white and grey by the hand of God or as in this picture from the beach in Sharjah, like small cotton balls. It is as if sand, water and sky melted into oneanother.
