This is a beautiful statue, I have so many Louvre Statue pics as well as Rome pics. People busied themselves with a lot of statue making back in the day...I wonder why we stopped doing that...perhaps because photography came in to the world?
That's a very interesting point. Perhaps that is the case. But, there is something so beautiful about being carved out of human hands. I have some more shall post them later in the week, did not want to spam pics! I hope to see your pics soon. Thanks for such a lovely topic.
