"Hands On" Food

At the same fish restaurant (Restaurant back pocket) in Visby, Gotland, Shrimps are served with lemon, bread and aioli ( a mayonaise type sauce with mustard and other ingredients in it).


  1. Well, I have to say it was the first time I de-crunched a shrimp..usually one buys them without their extra baggage so to speak but this was part of the experience. Besides the shrimps were smoked and tasted so good when you dipped them in the sauce!

    I usually eat them with the shells - disgusting I know! LOL

    Then I dissect the heads and suck out all the juicy bits! There's not much left by the time I've finished!

  3. NZM...I was struggling with trying to decapitate the shripms with my hands and you put it in your mouth??... on this one I have to say..Ya Allah! lollll
