What a lovely picture, looks like an amazing place, global themes is adding to my list of destinations to visit. Thanks for sharing. By the way did you also jump off the Mostar Bridge, lol.
ok, late comment as I've been blog-lazy the past weeks and as I've seen here, I've missed a lot of lovely photos! and as a gal I have to comment on this bridge jumping thing:) be it the mostar bridge jump, the la tomatina fight in buñol, or the bull running in pamplona - you will rarely find women participating... we don't want to and it's just not in our genes, coz we don't have to compensate for the lack of archaic hunting and conquering rituals that men miss in modern times. this is understandable and so we indulge your antics and watch and wonder... and won't fight for the right to jump ...*g*
I hear ya Sharron, although for me the whole point is having the option to do something if you wish to do so. The contest is just for men, and there are women there who told me they wanted to participate...and when it comes to that, then I just feel things should be open to everyone and people, men or women, should decide for themselves :)

ReplyDeletelol I didn't jump though I was tempted to. I went to see my best friend in Bosnia (whom by the way also went with me to Dubai), and we had a blast.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing, it seems only men participate in the event, which is rather unfair, I reckon it's time a woman made the jump lol
ReplyDeleteHeck Sha'ira, us women take a leap of faith everyday - we don't need no bridge jumps to prove anything! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh God - what bad English I just wrote! LOL
ReplyDeletelollll bad-a** is more like it!
ReplyDeleteWell I hear ya!
