Hertford College

One of many colleges making up the Oxford University in England. It has this peculiar winding structure to it which holds a staircase. The college was founded in 1282 by Elias De Hertford and was one of the first colleges to open up to co-education. Author of Gulliver's Travels, Jonathan Swift was a student of Hertford.

  1. It's so cool that they carried the shape of the internal staircase to the building's exterior!
