Street Party

Students on campus party with a campus tradition, coinciding with Drake Relays, a huge athletic event, campus organizations paint squares on a street while other streak and run across the street. Des Moines, IA, USA.

    you gotta tell me what all places we need to "do" in Iowa....we are in the neighboring state, Illinois. I have been thinking of visiting neal smith wildlife refuge near des moines.............:)

  4. Moi if you make it a weekend trip there are some quite interesting places around des moines. The covered bridges of Madison county are 30 mins from des moines.While you are looking at the bridges you can also visit John Wayne's house in winterset. Pella is a wonderful little dutch town with its own windmill and canal, they organize a festival called tulip time sometine in late spring/early summers.The ammana colonies are quite interestning to. Its a quite and relaxing place with lots of places of interest.
