Actually, this isn't the end result....you're supposed to remove the dried henna after a few hours and that leaves behind an orange-red stain that will darken over the next few hours. The best quality henna will deepen into a brownish-black. I am still in search of that kind of henna....(sigh)....:)

cool! i had henna done once but it didn't look nearly as crisp! :)
