Unexpected finds

I'm inspired by unexpected shapes. I had to take this shot on the sly - literally timing the shot for when the museum lady wasn't looking! This is the view of a small Buddha statue from behind and the shape its shadow created through its glass case backing. Taken at the Byodoin Museum in Uji, Japan.

  1. This is an interesting picture, why was it that you had to take it on the sly, was photography not allowed?

  3. Thanks, all! :)

Yeah, SS is right. No photos allowed at all. So, I had to turn the flash off of course to keep stealth so that's why it turned out a little runny/blurry - which actually turned out to be a cool effect. :)
