I'm taking the theme offbeat for this post!This is the Amsterdam, a ship out of the Holland Line stable, and named in honour of the capital of the Netherlands.
On the tram into Melbourne, I met one of the passengers who was off to the dentist for emergency treatment. It turned out that the dentist she was going to was directly opposite my office, so I was able to escort Barbara all the way to the surgery. She was in her late 50s and said that she felt like a teenager onboard the ship when compared to the other passengers, and that she had never seen so many wheelchairs and walking frames in one place before!
