Crossed off the List

I got to realise a longterm goal when we visited photokina in 2006.

The event is held every 2 years and in photographic circles it's regarded as one of t.h.e. events to attend.

This was one instance where the occasion did not live up to its hype. It may have been great about 10 years ago, but now that the internet allows us to shop/compare/evaluate online, tradeshows such as these have lost their appeal. Or maybe I was just jaded from having attended so many of these events as part of my responsibilities in past jobs.

Ah well, at least I got to strike off one entry on my "To Do" list!
