I think she's praying. We greet people with a "Namaste" in a very similar fashion in India. That reminds me, have you read a book called "Kiss Bow or Shake Hands" that offers a brief, quick glimpse into traditions across cultures?
I haven't either, SS....I was hoping someone has and would let me know if it's worth picking it up!!! and i too missed being here.....2 more days and I'm traveling for the rest of the year or whatever's left of it!!! am trying to catch up on on all the missed posts :)
