Hahahaha... Excellent comment... Actually someone said that to me TODAY over lunch: "there is this hotel, I think it's in Abu Dhabi, shaped like a sail, you know it?"
We used to get this all the time when we travelled to the US. When we'd say that we lived in Dubai, invariably the reply would be along the lines of "isn't that close to where that sail shaped hotel is?"
Of course, later that changed when the DP World ports fiasco pushed Dubai into the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Stupid politicians.
The world famous Burj Al Arab. Not everyone may know its name, but they all know that it's shaped like a sail and it's somewhere in the Middle East!
