During a class visit to the school library in the third or fourth grade, I discovered an illustrated book of Greek mythology. It was a kids book, but it didn't dumb down the stories and I absolutely LOVED reading the book and checked it out many times. This was probably the beginning of my fascination with all things fantasy and mythical and old - Zeus had his hey-day a while back. I absolutely wanted to be a part of the story. I took this picture this past weekend in Hakone, Japan, at The Hakone Open-Air Museum. It's supposed to be a scene from Greek mythology, though I can't remember which one. This guy and his Pegasus sidekick just look like they're having a blast! I wanna fly too!!

It's all Greek...
