This is Kheer, for those of you who do not know what it is, it's a south asian rice pudding, sprinkled with grated nuts and decorated with a thin edible sheet of silver. Eaten after all the meat in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
In india we call it by different names..of course kheer in Hindi ,and then payas in Bengali and payasam in south Indian languages...and it tastes as great in either language ...:)
