My Bosnian friend had helped and old woman in
Blagaj, outside Mostar, carry her groceries up a hill in a quaint little town surrounded by hills, trees and lakes. She lived alone in a small cottage with a veggie-patch and insisted we take with us some of her wonderful homegrown tomatos. They were huge, red and soo sweet! It would be a shame to cook them so we ate them nice and fresh.
Ohhhh....YUM!
ReplyDeleteLittle bit of salt and pepper and I'm in heaven!
Tomatoes are one thing I can never resist eating some while cutting them for cooking ..
ReplyDeleteWell part of the fun with cooking is eating as you go :)
ReplyDeleteTomatoes look fresh, did you pick them or did she pick them for you.
