Another one from the Sharjah Heritage area, United Arab Emirates. This is of a traditional building with a wind tower, the wind tower and lots of windows in the construction kept the houses very well ventilated and cool during the hot summer months of the desert.
have never heard of wind tower before.....though am aware of Hawa Mahal of Jaipur, India ....very practical really
