Budding Lotus

Held in reverence by many cultures and grown all around the world, the Lotus is both ornamental and food, and the national flower of India.
This one was growing in the botanical gardens at Pamplemousse on the island of Mauritius.

    i have never known what's the diference between lotus and water lily, if there's any!!!

    I don't think that there is a difference - I think that they're the same!
