scarce green..



all trees of iceland were cut down centuries ago.. trees are a rarity.. you miss them pretty quickly..

    Trees chopped down? Really? Well as a scandinavian neighbor I am abhorred! We are the mini continent of forests and trees. Hmmm... Any idea why the massive deforestation?

    it was hard to transport timber so they simply chopped it down..
