Same here in Berlin. A lot of them don't look like what you think of as a typical mosque.
ReplyDeleteA lot of them don't even have minarets. If it wasn't for their sometimes unusual construction angle (to face Mecca) on the land plot, you wouldn't be able to tell that they were mosques without looking for signage etc.

ReplyDeleteIts amazing how mosques or for that matter any religious building is built around the world, I guess culture and history play a huge role in the construction. Great picture Shaira.
