Mosque á la Bosnia

I love the way Islam has taken shape in Bosnia. It has created
its own identity and expression in for example the structure
of its mosques. Like a house with a Minaret.

  1. Same here in Berlin. A lot of them don't look like what you think of as a typical mosque.

A lot of them don't even have minarets. If it wasn't for their sometimes unusual construction angle (to face Mecca) on the land plot, you wouldn't be able to tell that they were mosques without looking for signage etc.

  3. Its amazing how mosques or for that matter any religious building is built around the world, I guess culture and history play a huge role in the construction. Great picture Shaira.
