Living in close quarters

The typical dorm room of a freshman student in an American University. Gives a whole new meaning to utilization of space.

  1. Brought back memories...I thought, I would never miss my days at the dorm or at the college. I realize now, those were my best times. Like a very long party:)...

  6. In Germany you seldom have dorms - students usually share flats and these shared appartments are called WGs (Wohngemeinschaften which literally means living community)...I had some interesting WGs during my years at university, my most interesting experience was a barack like house I shared with 17 other students! It was an abandoned building that was formerly a part of the university clinic and still had the sterile hospital toilets and showers... typically German everything was well organized and thank God I wasn't in the cleaning group:)but in the shopping team which was real fun: our weekly visit to the supermarket was always hilarious and we drove the ladies at the till crazy when lined up with our 10 shopping carts with food and other stuff for 18 people!
