I took this picture when visiting London over a year ago. It was actually late afternoon and seeing the sky behind the famous London Eye wheel, my friend and I thought, judging by the dark clouds we would get into some heavy rain real soon. A few hours later we found out that these were smoke clouds caused by a tremendous oil depot explosion in Buncefield some 30 miles north of London. The photo suddenly looked kind of spooky!

Smoke gets in your Eye

Cool.
ReplyDeleteIt's really hard to judge the size of the Eye until you stand underneath it - it's huge!
