This is the 15th-century Gothic Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) on Dam Square (main town square) in Amsterdam. The Nieuwe Kerk is famous for its much talked-about exhibitions and is also the place where the coronation of the Head of State as well of the national Remembrance Day service on 4 May takes place. If you ever visit Amsterdam keep this on the list of places to visit.
Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAre you allowed to view the interior and take photos?
Ohh that's nice :) Do try using a larger size when you post the pic so we can see the fab images you put up :)
ReplyDeleteI will do that!
ReplyDeleteSha'ira: if you click on the photo, it opens up nice and big!
ReplyDeleteI have adjusted the size a bit, perhaps this is better, let me know.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Thank you Candy!
ReplyDeleteI know one can click and enlarge NZM lol It's just that most people don't take the pains to click again so that's why I try to publish with the largest size option. I know I'm being a bum about this, pardon me. :)
